Privacy Policy — Tour Tycoon

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Tour Tycoon (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information. Tour Tycoon is a single-player, offline strategy game published by Berlin Experiences. We have designed the App to collect as little information as possible. In short: the App does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data.
1. Information we do not collect
Tour Tycoon does not require an account and does not ask you to provide any personal information to play. Specifically, the App does not collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
- Your precise or approximate location.
- Contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or calendar data.
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data.
- Behavioural or usage analytics. The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software.
2. Information stored on your device
To let you save and resume your game, the App stores the following locally on your device only:
- Game progress — your saved games, in-game company, money, decisions, and related game state.
- Preferences — settings such as reduced-motion accessibility options and whether you have played before.
This data stays on your device. It is not uploaded to us or to any third party, and we cannot access it. If you delete the App, this locally stored data is removed along with it. You can also clear it at any time using your device’s app storage controls.
3. App updates
The App uses Expo’s over-the-air update service to deliver improvements and fixes. When the App checks for an update, the request is served by Expo’s servers, which may receive standard technical information that accompanies any internet request (such as your device’s IP address, device type, and operating system version) for the purpose of delivering the correct update. We do not use this information to identify you, and we do not combine it with any other data. You can review Expo’s privacy practices at https://expo.dev/privacy.
4. App stores
Tour Tycoon is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. When you download or use the App, the relevant store may collect information under its own privacy policy — for example, download and basic diagnostic or crash information that the platform provides to developers in aggregated or de-identified form. This collection is controlled by Apple and Google, not by us. Please review their policies:
5. Children’s privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the App collects no personal data and offers no online accounts, messaging, or social features, there is no personal information for us to gather from children or any other player.
6. Your rights
Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control of the game data stored on your own device and can remove it at any time by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the App or to legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
